Richard Hubbard

Chief Executive Officer

Rich is married to Lynda and they have two children, Sam and Amy. Rich is an elder in Arun Community Church in Sussex. He is also a qualified Solicitor, but as of 2007 Rich is now CEO of Links International. He travels widely all over the world, having input into churches and overseeing projects. One of his passions is the interface between the business world and the kingdom of God.

Norman & Grace Barnes

Norman is the founder of Links International, which became a charity in its own right in 1985. Norman is now Co-Director of Links International and has travelled to 50 different countries. The vision for Links was established after he made a visit to Ghana in 1979 and saw that his vision to touch the world could be accomplished. Norman preaches and teaches both in the UK and abroad. He also helps people/churches to find their destiny in God especially in the area of mission. Links has, from it's beginning, wanted to help missionaries and nationals in practical ways, and has distributed over £1,000,000 to a variety of projects.

Grace together with her husband, Norman Barnes, pastored a church in Essex for 31 years. Grace acts as a consultant to the trust. Grace has travelled extensively both with Norman and in her own right, leading teams of women to such places as Mexico, India, Burundi, Ghana and Sri Lanka.

Lynda Hubbard

Lynda has been Office Manager since September 2005. For years Lynda has been involved in the work of Links, supporting Rich and helping with the various tasks of proof reading the magazines and helping with the mail-outs. She now oversees all the work, from banking to general correspondence, from admin to filing.

Peter Doherty

Peter is married to Suzanne and has three grown up children. He lives in Harlow, Essex but comes from Dundee, Scotland. Peter has been involved with Links since its inception and has been taking primary health care teams to South Africa's Eastern Cape since 1995, as well as other nations. He also leads the Gateway Christian Fellowship, which he has pastored for the last 25 years.

Joe Gisbey

In the summer of 2003 Rich approached Joe with the offer to begin travelling with him the following year, with the clear outline that he would have to believe God to provide for all his needs. Starting in 2004 Joe began to travel with Rich and now leads trips and teams, serving churches and organisations around the world.

Since the beginning of 2005 Joe has been assisting the Office Manager in all internal office procedures, assisting in developing projects, site visits, teaching and training. Joe is mentored by Rich and Norman with a view to taking increasing responsibility in the future and ongoing work of Links.

Linden Boothby

Linden has recently joined the Links team and is working in our office on a part-time basis. Linden and her husband John have a passion for the poor and have, in the past, lived in Africa working on healthcare-related projects.

Having recently moved from Lincolnshire where Linden was a manager in a primary care trust, she brings professional-level skills to help us develop our primary healthcare work. She is also an expert in training and management issues. She will be working in parallel with the regular teams led by long-serving team member and pioneer of Links' PHC initiative, Peter Doherty.

Mandy Dukes

From the beginning of 2007 Mandy Dukes has taken over from Clive Abbott as our Accounts Assistant. Mandy is married to Pete and they have two young children Sam and Alice. Mandy also works part time as a teaching assistant at her children's school, regurlarly helping out in their classrooms.

Mike & Beryl Godward

Mike and Beryl lead Wellspring Uganda which is a 'Centre of Excellence' situated near Kampala. Wellspring consists of a vibrant church (Wellspring Christian Fellowship), a Health Centre with maternity and dental facilities, a nursery and primary school, a housing development project and employment through business development initiatives. Together with Links' partnership Wellspring has seen over 2,700 individuals go through micro enterprise initiatives, literally seeing them come out of poverty.

Graham & Ruth Swaffield

Graham and Ruth Swaffield have a ministry to Marriage which started in 1999 when they received an invitation to go to Uranga in Kenya to speak on marriage. After many trips to Africa, they have developed a programme that is modular in style and can be adapted to take from 4 hours to 5 days. They have also developed a ‘Marriage Encounter' which takes two full days. This gives couples time away from daily life and family so that they can concentrate on their relationship and allow God to speak.

Over the years they have had many testimonies of how God has brought forgiveness, love and happiness to marriages and families.

Graham is a retired London Police officer and a former senior elder in a Pentecostal church. Ruth is a qualified children's nurse. They have been married for 35 years and have three sons and one granddaughter.

John and Chris Larkin

John and Chris have recently asked to work with us under the Links Umbrella. John has a passion for mission and Christine, as an educational expert, has skills, which fit in with John's vision extremely well. They are both gifted communicators and have a special interest in training people especially in prophetic ministry.

Heather Ferrier

Heather is based in Azle (in the Dalas/Fort Worth area) and is co-ordinating Links USA, which has just been incorporated in the state of Texas. Heather is a partner with her Father in their construction business and is part of The Abbey Church (formerly Family Christian Center) in Azle Texas.

Edith Watt

Edith lives in Vancouver, Canada. She served for a number of years as part of the Executive Board of ICC (International China Concern), travelling to China regularly in her role as member care and personnel director. Having now returned home, she has joined the Links team, taking on the role of representing Links to churches in the Vancouver area. In time we are looking to establish a Canadian non-profit organisation to underpin the work of our fledgling Canadian office
